Many Easter Events took place nationally, we have photographs from three so far.

Oakley Wood, Tullow

Respond Easter event took place in Oakley Wood Tullow Tuesday 15/04/14.  Easter hunt organized on the estate included day of games and fun for all the children.

Parents baked buns and treats which were appreciated by all.  It was a great turnout with over 60 children in attendance alongside their parents and neighbours.

The little bunnies didn’t take long to find all the chocolate and took even less time to eat it all up. Fantastic community atmosphere, sun was shining and a great day was had by all.

Castlegreen Crescent Cashel

The Easter Bunny arrived early at Castlegreen Crescent to the great excitement of the twenty children present. The eggs were distributed quickly and children aged between four and twelve scrambled to take part in the egg hunt on the green.

Credit goes to the parents, who got into the spirit of things and helped make the Easter bunny spring to life.

Children also made fabulous Easter baskets and each got to bring home a goodie bag for all their hard work.

Marquis Drive, Dungarvan

Another Respond Easter event took place in Marquis Drive Dungarvan 17/04/14.  Easter hunt was organized on the estate with games and fun for all the children attending the Planet Youth Club.   The community garden and community building were a treasure trove of hidden goodies of chocolate bunnies, eggs and treats for the children to hunt.

Fifteen excited children filled their baskets and bellies with yummy chocolate,  Many thanks to the volunteers Aideen, Sarah and Bill for ongoing commitment to the club.

It was a great evening of fun and games a nice start to the easter break.
