Marquis Drive’s Youth Club Got Talent 2015 – Dungarvan

Planet Youth Club runs each week in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford for 8-14 year olds. In March the group decided to enter a talent show with a dance act. After many weeks of practice Planet Youth headed off on Saturday 25^th April 2015 to participate in Youth Clubs Got Talent 2015 in Rathgormac Hiking Centre, Co. Waterford.

Planet youth entered for their first time with a dance routine to Funktown. They were one of twenty acts performing. In total over 150 young people took part.

The competition was very strong with young people aged between 8 and 17 battling it out to win the much coveted trophies and medals. The judges and audience were entertained for the afternoon by singers, dancers, dj’s, musicians and story telling/drama.

First Prize went to Dungarvan Youth Club solo singing

Second place went to Farronsheen Youth Club for singing and playing the guitar.

Planet youth had a fantastic day and were a pleasure to be with on the day. Everyone that took part received an engraved medal. A great afternoon was had by all!
