Parents and Children from Distillery View, Limerick City, organised and attended a day trip to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, Co. Clare on Tuesday 4th August 2015. The families took a trip back in time to visit Bunratty’s medieval castle and explored the sights, sounds, tastes and smells of the charming folk park village, shops and old school house.
The children enjoyed meeting Bunratty’s array of medieval characters, petting animals and playing in the newly opened playground.
The trip was organised by local parents and supported by Respond Housing Association Family Support and Community Development services.
