Community Groups honoured at the Lord Mayor of Cork Centenary Awards

Respond was one of the Community Groups honoured at the Lord Mayor of Cork Centenary Awards held recently at City Hall.  Respond Resident Support Worker Helena Crotty  was presented with a certificate of appreciation, by the Lord Mayor of Cork Cllr Chris O’Leary, in recognition of Respond’s valuable contribution to society.

Held at the City Hall each year the awards recognise the great work being carried out by people in the community using their community expertise and voluntary time and efforts across a range of areas including equality and social inclusion, community and neighbourhood services, sports, arts and culture and age friendly services.

Respond are delighted to be recognised for our work within the community in Cork.
