Residents, parents and children from the Respond Castlegreen Crescent estate, have been busy all summer long working on an art project to brighten the walls of the estate.
Adults and children were hard at work painting the walls of the estate and designing some colourful mural boards, which are now on display in the estate for all to enjoy and act as a constant reminder of the creativity of all involved.
Jennifer Danaher, Family Resource Worker with Respond explains:
“Both parents and children enthusiastically got stuck into painting the walls and designing the boards. It was great to have local community artist, Cher Gleeson to encourage creativity and add some artistic flair to the project”.
Collette O’ Dwyer, Castlegreen Crescent resident added
“I really enjoyed the project, it was great seeing people out and getting involved in their community.”
